Arrival, Departure and Housekeeping

HOUSEKEEPING

The caravan has been cleaned before your arrival. In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with the standard of any cleaning when you arrive please let us know immediately so that we can put it right.  We are very approachable, so please don’t hesitate if your at all unhappy.

ARRIVAL

Your check in time will be 3pm.  We do occasionally need more time to get your accommodation ready.  If this is the case we will let you know as soon as we do.

If you get to the holiday park before 3pm please give us a call.  I can give you your passes and you can go and use the café, pools etc and we will let you know when the accommodation is ready.  Please don’t check in until 3pm, even if it looks clean and tidy.  We often come back in after a clean to sanitise and make sure nothing hasn’t been forgotten.

I’m really sorry but we have had to remove things that we would usually have available to our guests  ie:board games, playing cards, books and DVD’s, as keeping these sanitized through COVID 19 would have  been an absolute nightmare.

DEPARTURE

We would ask that you depart at 10am unless we’ve arranged a late check out as the property will need to be thoroughly aired before our cleaning team enter the property. Please can you place the key back in thekey safe.

On departure please can you ensure any washing up is done, all rubbish is removed, strip your beds and place all dirty linen in the shower.

Other information

BBQ’S

There is a charcoal BBQ for your use. It will be at the back of the caravan. Please leave it as you found it.  Sadly we have had to introduce some rules regarding BBQ’s as we’ve had some damage to deckings and even work tops due to BBQing.

  • BBQ’s are only to be used on the green area beside the decking – not on the decking itself.
  • Please do not use disposable BBQ’s.
  • Please do not use any BBQ coals inside the caravan.
  • We will be fining guests if the decking is damaged in any way on check out.

DOGS

If your bringing your dog with you, please note that dogs must be kept on a lead at all times around the park. I’m sure I don’t need to ask but please pick up after your dog, there are lots of small children around! If your dog is likely to be up on the furniture (my dogs does, the minute my backs turned), please can you use the throws to cover it as best you can. There are usually a couple of throws around. If not please give me a call and I can drop you one in.

There are lots of lovely dog walks around the caravan. There is a lovely walk around Whitefriars Lake. From the clubhouse take the little cut through to the right of the shop, follow the road round for a couple of minutes you will see a bridge on the right hand side, go over the bridge and your there.

These operate on a first come first served basis, but please be aware there are a lot of owners who fish everyday and will get a bit stroppy if you nick their spot! (According to my brother this is a very competitive sport 😊😊) I’m sure I don’t need to say but please ensure you take any rubbish, line and hooks home with you. We don’t want our wildlife suffering. You can fish from 8am – 10pm daily. No night fishing I’m afraid. There are some big fish in there so please ensure any children are well supervised as they could be pulled in. We have a local tackle shop that can help with any questions or kit needed. www.tackleden.co.uk
