Situated on Heron Lake we have several holiday lodges, these wooden havens provide an opportunity for an unforgettable holiday. Each lodge is unique and they are all decorated and furnished differently.
‘Woodpecker’ is a real treat, it has a dark rustic style interior and textured furnishings, is a great place to enjoy a social gathering, it stands out from the other Lodges as it has three double beds. This Lodge presents the perfect opportunity for a holiday situated in country-side bliss. Suitable for all ages, but ideal for grown-ups to enjoy its sociable layout.
The patio doors open outwards onto the impressive outside deck, which has comfortable outdoor furniture. For anglers’ this is a superb for fishing as you are only a short walk away form Heron Lake.

The space
Woodpecker is a large 3-bedroom lodge with an open plan kitchen and lounge. The kitchen is well equipped perfect for cooking for family and friends. The features include a dishwasher and a large fridge freezer.
The lounge is spacious, there is a large dining table that seats 6, it has two large sofas and two leather armchairs, a flat screen TV and a DVD player.
The master bedroom has a queen bed with a triple wardrobe and ensuite shower room. The second and third bedroom have double beds. Then there is a second family bathroom with a shower over a bath.
This Lodge is perfect for all ages, it is also pet friendly.

Guest access
- There is plenty of parking spaces, there is a small car park in front of the lodge, it is easy to park up and unload your belongings. Parking is free.
- Access to the Lodge is via key safe. Check-in instructions are sent approximately a week prior to the holiday start date with the key code.
- Check-in time is 3pm.
- Check-out is 10am. A later check-out time can be requested until 12pm at an extra charge of £35. (Subject to availability)
Other things to note
- Please bring your own towels.
- We love dogs and they are very welcome to stay here. It is an additional £30 to bring them along, please do inform us when making your reservation.
- We have BBQs available for use, they are fully your responsibility, we do not provide coals. It is very important that are only used on the grassy areas beside your accommodation. Please note, for safety reasons, they not permitted on the balcony or on any decking areas.
- Please take the BBQ’s as you find them, they are not always perfect, they are a token gesture. We prefer you leave them as clean as you can.
- We have other Lodges nearby if you are considering a group booking. Treetops lodge is just next.
Resort Passes
Hoburne Passes are £50. They allow access to the resort and fishing lakes. Passes are required so you can make use of the swimming pool, sauna, plus a whole host of entertainment and events throughout the season.
